EDITH M. CAMPBELL

MILTON. EDITH M. CAMPBELL, age 75 of Milton and former Davis County resident died November 15, 2005 at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born April 18, 1930 in Davis County, Iowa to John and Nellie Goudy Lester. She married Esco Campbell May 21, 1949 in Bloomfield, Iowa. She had been a resident of Milton since 1973 and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter Candice Sue (Phil) Downing of Bloomfield; 4 sons Esco (Velma) Campbell, Jr. of Ottumwa, Jackson (Bessie) Campbell of Winchester, Kansas, Dave (Dorothy) Campbell of Bloomfield and Tom (Becky) Campbell of Fairfield; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother Jess Lester of Sterling, Colorado and 3 sisters Zoe Young of Ft. Worth, Texas and Ida Dalby and Pansy Campbell of Ottumwa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Judy Campbell; 3 sisters Lucy Herod, Grace Small and Charlotte Heckethorne and a brother William Lester.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday November 19, 2005 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Revs. Jerry Caughron and Ken Downing officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Friday with the family present from 7:00-8:30 PM. A memorial has been established to the Kidney Foundation.
