TERRY L. DOWNING

BLOOMFIELD. TERRY L. DOWNING, age 52 of rural Bloomfield died August 12, 2005 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield. He was born February 10, 1953 in Keosauqua, Iowa to Manie Charles and Betty Farris Downing. He married Mary “Cissie” Cline November 5, 1989 in Newton, Iowa. He was a lifetime resident of Davis County and graduated from Davis County High School in 1971. He worked for Iowa Bridge and Culvert as a carpenter. He was affiliated with Calvary Community Church in Pulaski, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife; a son Jeremy Knox of Iowa City, Iowa; a daughter Mandie (John) Replogle of Moulton, Iowa; his mother Betty Downing of Drakesville, Iowa; a brother Gary Downing of Baring, Missouri and a sister Sharon Kay Boyer of Floris, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday August 17, 2005 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Doran Bollman officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Davis County, Iowa. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from noon until the time of the service Wednesday. A memorial has been established to his family.
