HOLLAND “JAKE” KINNAMON

BLOOMFIELD. HOLLAND “JAKE” KINNAMON, age 91 of Savannah, Iowa died June 27, 2005 at his home. He was born June 9, 1914 in Davis County, Iowa to Charles and Jennie Graham Kinnamon. He married Annabel R. Hoskins December 30, 1935 in Birmingham, Iowa, she preceded him in death October 16, 2002. He was a farmer and had been a resident of Davis County his lifetime. He was a member of the Savannah Christian Church.

He is survived by 3 sons Karl Kinnamon of Bloomfield, Iowa, Lonnie Kinnamon of Overland Park, Kansas and Kenneth Kinnamon of Fairway, Kansas;
2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 3 sisters Freda Pettit of Bloomfield, Iowa, Ova Martin of Lancaster, Missouri and Vada Swift of Neosho, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; 3 sisters Alice Van Horn, Golda Bennett and Hazel Van Horn and 5 brothers twins Harold and Lovell, Claud, John and Charles,Jr. Kinnamon.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday July 1, 2005 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Kramer Smith officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Thursday with the family present from 6:00-8:00 PM. A memorial has been established to the Davis County Historical Society for the Savannah Christian Church.
