DENNIS LANGFORD

TROY. DENNIS E. LANGFORD, age 74 of Troy died May 22, 2005 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born October 29, 1930 in Van Buren County, Iowa to Arch Elbert and Bessie Miller Langford. He married Carol Sloan January 19, 1952 in Bloomfield, Iowa. He had been a finish dozer operator for Estle and DeLong Construction and Reilly Construction.

He is survived by his wife; 2 sons Paul of Des Moines and Doug of Hartland, Wisconsin; 5 grandchildren; a great grandson; a brother Dale Langford of Troy, Iowa and a sister Enid Roberts of Pulaski, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday May 26, 2005 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Jack Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Troy Cemetery in Troy, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Wednesday with the family present from 6:00-8:00 PM. A memorial has been established to the Troy Academy.
