GOLDIE M. LEYDA

BLOOMFIELD. GOLDIE M. LEYDA, age 100 of Bloomfield died November 13, 2005 at the Davis County Hospital Long Term Care. She was born December 30, 1904 in Davis County, Iowa to George and Margaret Crom Bogle. She married Lowell Glen Leyda October 18, 1924 in Bloomfield, Iowa, he preceded her in death December 5, 1957. She was a lifetime resident of Davis County and was a homemaker and cook at several restaurants. She was a member of the Washington Christian Church, the Mark Stitch and Chatter Club, Rebekah Lodge #1 in Bloomfield, was a Past Noble Grand and member of WRC.

She is survived by 2 sons Robert and Max Leyda both of Bloomfield; a daughter Helen McWilliams of Manchester, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband a son Boyd Leyda; a daughter Lucille Leyda; a grandson Ricky Leyda; 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday November 17, 2005 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. James Wakelin officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Wednesday with the family present from 6:00-7:30 PM. Memorials have been established to the Bloomfield Christian Church and the Long Term Care.
