BLOOMFIELD. CARMYN E. MILLER, age 92 of Grand Forks,
North Dakota and former Bloomfield resident died February 5, 2005
at Woodside Village in Grand Forks. She was born February 13, 1912
in Moulton, Iowa to Charles Edgar and Susann Murphy Evans. She graduated
from Bloomfield High School and attended Bloomfield Junior College.
She married Curtis Jeremiah Miller February 13, 1942 in Bloomfield,
Iowa, he preceded her in death August 1, 1976. She and her husband
were lifelong farmers in Davis County and operated a Television
and Electronics Store. She was a member of the Pulaski Mennonite
Church, Friendship Chapter #46 Order of the Eastern Star in Bloomfield
and the Past Matrons Club.
She is survived by a daughter Diana (Noel) LeTexier
of Grand Forks, North Dakota; a granddaughter Robin Cook of Grand
Forks, North Dakota; a grandson Curtis LeTexier of Grand Forks,
North Dakota; a sister Marne Bond of Memphis, Tennessee and a brother
Leonel Evans of Lakeland, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband;
2 brothers Charles and Carlyle Evans and a sister LaVelma Seydel.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday
May 25, 2005 at the Pulaski Mennonite Church with Pastor Darrell
Zook officiating. Burial will be in the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski,
Iowa. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM Wednesday morning until the
time of the service. A memorial has been established to the Pulaski
Mennonite Church. Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge
of arrangements. |
