ADAM J. SCHROCK

BLOOMFIELD. ADAM J. SCHROCK, age 89 of rural Bloomfield died June 8, 2005 at his residence. He was born December 13, 1915 in Yoder, Kansas to Joseph and Lydia Hostetler Schrock. He married Malinda Petersheim October 10, 1940 in Dover, Delaware. He was a farmer and had lived in Davis County since 1987. He was a member of the Old Order Amish.

He is survived by his wife; 3 sons Roman of Fredricktown, Ohio, Roy of LaGrange, Indiana and William of Hamilton, Montana; 6 daughters Mattie Detweiler of Bloomfield, Iowa, Rosa Lambright of LaMar, Missouri, Lena Wickey of LaGrange, Indiana, Dora Lambright of Whitehall, Wisconsin, Nancy Yoder of Bloomfield, Iowa and Lydia Ann Miller of Whitehall, Wisconsin; 76 grandchildren; 266 great grandchildren and 3 sisters Katie Borntrager of Kalona, Iowa and Lydia Gingerich and Lizzie Hochstetler both of Clark, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; a sister; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will held at 9:00 AM Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the Daniel Yoder residence 18392 200th Street Bloomfield, Iowa with minister in charge Melvin Schrock.
