LLOYD RAHE WHEELER

BLOOMFIELD. LLOYD RAHE WHEELER, age 85 of Ottumwa and former Bloomfield resident died April 10, 2005. He was born September 12, 1919 in Davis County, Iowa to Marcus H. “Joe” and Olive Monahan Wheeler. He married Alta Irene Kieffer March 5, 1944 in Lancaster, Missouri, she preceded him in death December 1, 1986. He farmed the family farm for several years before becoming a truck driver for Warren Transport.

He is survived by 2 daughters Judy (Paul) Gettings of Ottumwa and Connie (Paul) Cantrell of Drakesville; a son Stephan Wheeler of Golden Valley, Minnesota; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter and a sister Telma Keyser of Drakesville.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Richard Friend officiating. Burial will be in the North Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Davis County, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Thursday with the family present from 6:30-8:30 PM. A memorial has been established to the North Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
