JOE DEAN BRAGG

BLOOMFIELD. JOE DEAN BRAGG, age 51 of rural Bloomfield died May 25, 2006 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born March 27, 1955 in Bloomfield, Iowa to Irvin True and Beulah May Beeler Bragg. He married Sonia Bish February 4, 1978 in Bloomfield, Iowa. He was a resident of Davis county his lifetime and was a 1973 graduate of Davis County Community High School. He owned and operated Bragg and Sons Recycling in Mark, Iowa. He was a member of the Coatsville Baptist Church, the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Association.

He is survived by his wife; 2 sons George (Sarah) Bragg and Dean (Hallie) Bragg both of Bloomfield; 2 grandsons Dylan Bragg and Dean Bragg, Jr.; 2 brothers Gerald and James Bragg both of Bloomfield and 2 sisters Sara Downing of Hannibal, Missouri and Sandie Gibson of New Bloomfield, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gary Bragg.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday May 30, 2006 at the Dooley Cemetery southeast of Mark, Iowa with Rev. Steven Houser officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Monday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The family will be present from 6:30-8:00 PM Monday. A memorial has been established to his family.
