E. JANE BROWN BLOOMFIELD. E. JANE BROWN, age 61 of rural Bloomfield died August 2, 2006 at Hospice House in Ottumwa. She was born July 4, 1945 at the Bremerton, Washington Naval Base to Alvin L. and Luela Anderson Bennett. She married W. C. “Buster” Brown May 27, 1972 in Bloomfield, Iowa. She had been a resident of Bloomfield since 1969 and was an elementary teacher in the Davis County Community School District, retiring in 2003. She was a member of the Church of the Open Bible in Bloomfield. She was also a member of the Davis County Retired School Personnel and was currently serving as treasurer. She is survived by her husband; her mother Luela Bennett of Chandler, Arizona and She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday August 5, 2006 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastors Charles Courtney and Jerry Lanferman officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Friday with the family present from 6:00-8:00 PM. Memorials have been established to the Church of the Open Bible in Bloomfield and Hospice, Inc. |
