BETTE JEAN CARY

BLOOMFIELD. BETTE JEAN CARY, age 78 of Bloomfield died February 6, 2006 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. She was born November 10, 1927 in West Grove, Iowa to Lloyd and Lelia Walker Southern. She was a lifetime resident of Davis County and worked for the City of Bloomfield and the Davis County Hospital. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Moulton and the Moulton Christian Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters Esther (Mike) Cantrell of Bloomfield, Iowa and Jeanie (Bill) Norton of Rose Hill, Iowa; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4 brothers Richard Southern of Moulton, Iowa, Russell and Jim Southern both of Newton, Iowa and Roy Southern of Moline, Illinois and 2 sisters Beatrice French of Moravia, Iowa and Edith Singley of Moulton, Iowa

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday February 10, 2006 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Kramer Smith officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Thursday with the family present from 6:00-8:00 PM. A memorial has been established to her family.
