CARL E. CHADWICK

BLOOMFIELD.  CARL E. CHADWICK, age 86 of Bloomfield died December 22, 2006 at his home.  He was born September 1, 1920 in Bloomfield, Iowa to Levi and Ruth Christy Chadwick.  He served in the United States Army during World War II.  He worked for Western Electric, retiring in 1980.  He was affiliated with the Bloomfield Christian Church and was a member of Reed Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion in Bloomfield and the Bloomfield Country Club.

He is survived by 2 brothers  Robert Chadwick of Ottumwa, Iowa and John Chadwick of St. Louis, Missouri and 7 sisters  Doris Spurgeon of Washington, Iowa,  Joyce Pence of Bloomfield, Iowa,  Alice Harder of Central Point, Oregon,  Jean Koehler of Burlington, Iowa,  Joann Hunter of Seymour, Iowa and Judith and Jeanette Chadwick both of West Burlington, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents;  a brother Martin Chadwick and a sister  Mary Lee Lyons.
