WILLIAM “WILLIE” DAVIS MOULTON. WILLIAM “WILLIE” DAVIS, age 50 of Moulton, Iowa died September 19, 2006 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born July 5, 1956 in Centerville, Iowa to Charles A. and Bonnie Kirby Davis. He graduated from Davis County High School in 1974 and later served in the United States Army. He had worked at Turner Concrete in Ottumwa for 10 years as a concrete finisher. He is survived by a daughter Taylor Davis of Unionville, Iowa; his mother Bonnie Davis of Moulton, Iowa; 2 brothers Russell Davis of Centerville, Iowa and Louis Davis of Louisburg, Kansas; a sister Peggy Spaw of Des Moines, Iowa; a special friend Lori Grimm of Moulton, Iowa, several nieces and nephews and 4 great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; 2 brothers Gilbert and Scott Davis and a brother-in-law Joe Spaw. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday September 24, 2006 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Jerry Weller officiating. Burial will be in the Burgher Cemetery in Davis County, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday with the family present from 6:30-8:30 PM. A memorial in lieu of flowers has been established to his family. |
