ORVILLE V. KEYSER

DRAKESVILLE. ORVILLE V. KEYSER, age 82 of Drakesville died April 11, 2006 at the Bloomfield Care Center. He was born December 23, 1923 in Madelia, Minnesota to Elbert and Ella Evenson Keyser. He married Telma C. Wheeler February 7, 1946 in Glenview, Illinois. He served in the United States Navy during World Ward II. He lived most of his life in Davis County and was a farmer. He was a member of the Ash Grove Christian Church and Reed Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion in Bloomfield.

He is survived by his wife; a son Kris Keyser of Drakesville, Iowa; a brother Dale Keyser of Redondo Beach, California and a sister Edith Eastvold of Blue Earth, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter in infancy; 2 brothers John and Donald Keyser and a sister Ruth Keyser.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Friday April 14, 2006 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Jim Matheney officiating. Burial with graveside military rites by Reed Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion in Bloomfield will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Thursday with the family present from 6:00-7:00 PM. A memorial has been established.
