OPAL DARLENE LASLEY

BLOOMFIELD. OPAL DARLENE LASLEY, age 89 of Bloomfield died February 14, 2006 at the Bloomfield Care Center. She was born March 4, 1916 in West Grove, Iowa to Ernest F. and Sadie E. Fountain White. She married Harold LaVerne Lasley, he preceded her in death September 10, 1984. She was a homemaker and lived in Davis County most of her life.

She is survived by a daughter Verna (Harold) Rudd of Drakesville, Iowa; a son Steven (Janet) Lasley of Ottumwa, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren and 7 step great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter Betty Jessop;
a granddaughter; 2 great granddaughters; a brother Raymond White and a sister Velma Prevo.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Friday February 17, 2006 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Janet Lasley officiating. Burial will be in the Rouch Cemetery in Davis County, Iowa. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday with the family present from 6:00-7:30 PM.
