BETTY JEAN POSE

BLOOMFIELD. BETTY JEAN POSE, age 79 of Bloomfield died March 10, 2006 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born April 10, 1926 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Roy Elvin and Elsie May Allen Hoover. She married Robert Lee Pose April 19, 1952 in Rochester, Minnesota. He preceded her in death December 14, 1983. She was a homemaker and had lived in Bloomfield since 1971. She was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church and the CWF.

She is survived by a son Jeffrey (Karen) Pose of Lenapah, Oklahoma; 2 daughters Kendra (Rick) Warning of Bloomfield, Iowa and Leanne Rook of Marshalltown, Iowa;
2 step daughters Tana Petersen of Fairfax, Iowa and Diana (Larry) Brislawn of Hiawatha, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren and a sister Maxine Kadner of Des Moines, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son Paul in infancy and a step son Robert Pose, Jr.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday March 14, 2006 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. James Wakelin officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Monday with the family present from 6:30-8:00 PM. Memorials have been established to the Bloomfield Christian Church and the American Lung Association.
