OTTUMWA. BEATRICE M. SLEETH, age 91 of Ottumwa and former Davis County resident went home to be with Jesus and Dad August 14, 2006 at Hospice House in Ottumwa. She was born November 24, 1914 in Davis County, Iowa to Everett and Inez Benge Stufflebeem. She married Clarence L. Sleeth July 2, 1932 in Lancaster, Missouri. He preceded her in death January 17, 1995. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Davis County most of her life. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Assembly of God in Ottumwa.
She is survived by a son Galen (Janice) Sleeth of Bloomfield; 3 daughters Evelyn Anderson, Kay (Wilbur) Livingston and Karren (Ralph) Livingston all of Ottumwa; 12 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 23 great great grandchildren; a brother Rev. E. J. Stufflebeem of Lake Placid, Florida and a sister Alma Lanferman of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 grandsons Keith Pilcher and Larry Sleeth; 4 brothers Milo and Wilbur Stufflebeem and 2 in infancy and a sister in infancy.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday August 18, 2006 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. E. J. Stufflebeem officiating. Burial will be in the West Grove Cemetery in West Grove, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Thursday with the family present from 6:00-8:00 PM. A memorial in lieu of flowers has been established to Hospice, Inc. |
