CHRISTINE BAILEY

DRAKESVILLE.  CHRISTINE BAILEY, age 66 of Drakesville, Iowa died January 19, 2007 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.  She was born June 10, 1940 in Davis County, Iowa to Orlando and Dovie Hopkins Bailey.  She was a resident of Davis County her lifetime and was a secretary in the health occupations department at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, retiring in 2002.  She was a member of the Drakesville United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by 2 sisters  Barbara Moore of Drakesville, Iowa and Virginia Lockman of Moravia, Iowa;  5 nieces  Teresa Peterson of Des Moines, Iowa,  Pat Holmertz of Johnston, Iowa,  Pam Johnson of Moravia, Iowa,  Sherri Hanna of Winterset, Iowa and Susan Knapp of Bloomfield, Iowa;  a nephew  Bryan Moore of Drakesville, Iowa and several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a great niece  Amy Johnson.
