NANCY E. HARBOUR

BLOOMFIELD.  NANCY E. HARBOUR, age 81 of rural Bloomfield died March 30, 2007 at her home.  She was born November 22, 1925 in Appanoose County, Iowa to Jess O. and Frances Alexander Dixon.  She married Denzyl Harbour  April 17, 1947 in Lancaster, Missouri.  She was a resident of Davis County most of her life and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Parent Teacher Association and helped with Troop 91 of the Boy Scouts. 

She is survived by her husband;  a son  Dennis (Julie) Harbour of Bloomfield, Iowa and a daughter  Dena Sue Harbour of California, Missouri;  6 grandchildren;  3 great grandchildren;  2 brothers  Walter Dixon of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Mike Dixon of Durango, Colorado; a sister  Enid Ellen Kirby of Moulton, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents;  a brother  Max “Bud” Dixon and a sister  Ava Nell Miller.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Monday April 2, 2007 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor David Albert officiating.  Burial will be in the Harbour Cemetery in Davis County, Iowa.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Sunday with the family present from 2:00-4:00 pm.  A memorial has been established to the Davis County Historical Society.
