HENRY J. HOCHSTEDLER BLOOMFIELD. HENRY J. HOCHSTEDLER, age 68 of rural Bloomfield died June 28, 2007 at his home. He was born February 6, 1939 in Arthur, Illinois to John and Lena Mast Hochstedler. He married Fannie Marie Gingerich September 22, 1959 in Arthur, Illinois. He had been a resident of Davis County since 1974 and was a harness maker. He was a member of the Old Order Amish. He is survived by his wife; 4 sons Nathan of Garnett, Kansas, Paul and Chris both of Bloomfield and David of Wheatland, Missouri; 2 daughters Magdalena Yoder of Dunnegun, Missouri and Leah Anna Hochstedler of Bloomfield; 14 grandchildren; a brother Omar Hochstedler of Arthur, Illinois and 5 sisters Mattie, Fannie, Amanda and Alta Hochstedler all of Kalona, Iowa and Anna Gingerich of Bloomfield. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be at 9:00 am Sunday July 1, 2007 at the Ervin Mast Sawmill 15010 220th St. Bloomfield, Iowa with the Minister in Charge Bishop David Wayne Schrock officiating. Burial will be in the Echo Ridge Cemetery north of West Grove, Iowa. Visitation will be Friday and Saturday at 15010 220th St. Bloomfield, Iowa. Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield is assisting the family. |
