LEOTA G. HORTON PULASKI. LEOTA G. HORTON, age 89 of Chillicothe, Missouri and former Pulaski, Iowa resident died January 20, 2007 at the Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was born January 28, 1917 in Davis County, Iowa to Charles and Ella May Nighswonger Hutchings. She married Jake Horton November 28, 1947 in Bloomfield, Iowa. He preceded her in death April 14, 1997. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Chillicothe since 2004. She was a member of the Pulaski United Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge #1 in Bloomfield. She is survived by a son Charlie (Jyl) Horton of Chillicothe, Missouri; 3 grandsons; a great grandson and a sister Chrystal Andert of Florissant, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and 2 brothers Wayne and Forrest Hutchings. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday January 24, 2007 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. James Wakelin officiating. Burial will be in the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski, Iowa. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Wednesday until the time of the service. Memorials in lieu of flowers have been established to the Pulaski Corn Show and the Pulaski Cemetery. |
