VEOLA A. JOHNSON BLOOMFIELD. VEOLA A. JOHNSON, age 95 of Bloomfield died February 13, 2007 at the Bloomfield Care Center. She was born June 14, 1911 in Latimer, Iowa to Albert and Marie Schonemann Johnson. She worked at the Iowa State University registration office as a bookkeeper. She had been a resident of Bloomfield since 1982. She was a very active member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. She is survived by a sister Dorothy Rasmussen of Bloomfield; a niece Anita Shockley and a nephew David Rasmussen both of Bloomfield and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Eleanor Tobie. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday February 24, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomfield with Rev. Nancy Pick officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. A memorial has been established to her church. Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements. |
