FRED L. JOHNSON OTTUMWA. FRED L. JOHNSON, age 67 of rural Ottumwa and former Pulaski, Iowa resident died September 9, 2007 at his home. He was born July 21, 1940 in Glenwood Mills, Iowa to Lee F. and Francis E. Ensminger Johnson. He married Jeanine McCune February 3, 1963 in Memphis, Missouri. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1959. He had been a resident of Ottumwa since 1991 and worked at John Deere, retiring in 1999. He was affiliated with the Christian Church and was an avid buckskinner. He is survived by his wife; 3 sons Rod (Teresa) Johnson of Pulaski, Iowa, David (Angela) Hall of Bloomfield, Iowa and Dennis (Tonya) Johnson of Pulaski, Iowa; a daughter Shanna (Mike) Galey of Kalispell, Montana and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday September 12, 2007 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Kramer Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Tuesday with the family present from 6:00-8:00 pm for a casual visitation. Memorials may be made to the Pulaski Fire Departments or Hospice, Inc. |
