Lorraine Lough

BLOOMFIELD Lorraine Lough 81, of Bloomfield died December 3, 2007 at the Bloomfield Care Center.  She was born March 21, 1926 near Pulaski, Iowa to Harry and Irene Schindler Helmick.  She married John R. Lough September 26, 1945 in Bloomfield.  He proceeds her in death March 10, 2005.  A resident of Davis County her lifetime, she was a homemaker.  She was a member of Rebekah Lodge #1 of Bloomfield, and was a Cub Scout leader.

She is survived by a daughter Linda (Jack) Prevo of Bloomfield; 3 sons: Ken (Maureen) Lough of Marion, IA: Jim (Vicki) Lough and Larry Lough, both of Bloomfield.  6 grand-children.  9 great-grand-children.  A great-great-grand-daughter and a sister Evelyn Downing of Des Moines, IA.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Thursday December 6, 2007 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Kevin Gingerich officiating.  Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield.  Visitation will begin at 9 am Wednesday with the family present to greet friends from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.  A memorial has been established to her family or Hospice Inc.
