EDWARD L. MAST BLOOMFIELD. EDWARD L. MAST, age 82 of rural Bloomfield died January 3, 2007 at his home. He was born November 6, 1924 in LaGrange, Indiana to Levi and Susan Gingerich Mast. He married Elizabeth E. Eash November 4, 1948 in Topeka, Indiana. He was a farmer and had lived in Davis County, Iowa since 1978. He was a member of the Old Order Amish. He is survived by his wife; 6 sons Ervin J. Mast, Freeman Mast, Richard Mast, Levi Mast and Harley Mast all of Bloomfield, Iowa and David Mast of Nappenee, Indiana; 6 daughters Edna Mast, Rhoda Troyer and Lena Mast all of Bloomfield, Iowa, Elsie Borkholder of Shipshewana, Indiana, Rosa Kauffman of Arthur, Illinois and Marianna Yutzy of Norwood, Missouri; 87 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and 2 brothers John Mast of Lake Placid, Florida and Melvin Mast of Circle City, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents; a great grandson; 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be at 9:00 AM Saturday January 6, 2007 at the Harley Mast residence 17189 200th St. Bloomfield, Iowa with the Minister in Charge, Melvin Schrock officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 4th and Friday, January 5th at the Harley Mast residence. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Davis County, Iowa. Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Iowa is assisting the family. |
