MELBA NIXON BLOOMFIELD. MELBA NIXON, age 66 of Bloomfield, Iowa and former Fairfield resident died July 23, 2007 at Davis Center in Davis County, Iowa. She was born November 1, 1940 to Vern and Mary Ann Nixon. She is survived by 2 brothers Wayne Nixon of Des Moines, Iowa and Gary Nixon of Rochester, Minnesota; 2 sisters Donna Leport of Des Moines, Iowa and Mary Harve of New York and a special friend Karen Vilmont of Washington, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents. The body has been cremated. Services will be held at a later date. Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of the arrangements. |
