WILLIAM C. “BILL” SHERMAN

PULASKI.  WILLIAM C. “BILL” SHERMAN, age 67 of Pulaski, Iowa died March 27, 2007 at his home.  He was born November 19, 1939 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Phillip S. and Edith Cowles Sherman.  He married Lela Gillaspie  April 23, 1960 in Pulaski, Iowa.  He was a resident of Davis County his lifetime and was a farmer.  He was a 1958 graduate of Pulaski High School.

He is survived by his wife;  2 sons  Jerry (Cindy) Sherman of Hallsville, Missouri and Jeff Sherman of Waukee, Iowa;  a daughter  Cheri (Mitchell) Buckner of Ashland, Missouri; 8 grandchildren  Serena (Kirk) Scott, Latitia and Katelyn Sherman, Blake Sherman, Mike Sherman Mattingly, Devin Bullard, Jamie Buckner, Will Buckner;  a sister  Karen Wisbey of Buffalo Grove, Illinois and a special friend  Buck Wheaton of Pulaski, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday March 31, 2007 at the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski, Iowa with Doran Bollman officiating.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Friday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the family present from 6:00-8:00 pm.  A memorial has been established in his name.
