BETTY L. THOMPSON

BLOOMFIELD.  BETTY L. THOMPSON, age 78 of Bloomfield died March 31, 2007 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.  She was born October 7, 1928 in Davis County, Iowa to Alfred L. and Doris Fox White.  She married Robert R. Small  December 2, 1944 in Lancaster, Missouri.  He preceded her in death August 9, 1974.  She married Glenn “Joe” Thompson  February 6, 1980 in Dallas, Texas.  He preceded her in death December 3, 1994.  She was a resident of Davis County most of her life and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church.

She is survived by a daughter  Doris Maria (Barry) Smith of Clive, Iowa;  3 sons  Lynn (Randi) Small of Bloomfield, Iowa,  Ronnie (Carolyn) Small of Davenport, Iowa and Brice (Laura) Small of Waxhaw, North Carolina;  a stepson  Tommy (Marcella) Thompson of Bloomfield, Iowa;  a stepdaughter  Pam (John) Humphreys of Woodward, Iowa; 9 grandchildren;  6 step grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren and a step great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands;  a brother  James White;  a grandson  Kelly Small and a stepdaughter  Glenda Myers.
