Joan Beaver

BLOOMFIELD:  Joan Beaver, 74, of Bloomfield, Iowa died November 19, 2008 at her home.  She was born December 28, 1933 in Memphis, Missouri to Glen and Flossie Boyd McGee.  She married Murel E. Beaver May 27, 1951 in Memphis.  He preceded her in death August 22, 2006.  She was a nurse at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield for several years.  She was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church.

She is survived by 2 sons, Kelly Beaver of Bloomington, Illinois, Kevin Beaver of Hobart, Oklahoma; and 3 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Keith Beaver; and a sister.

Funeral services will be at 1:30pm on Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Iowa with Pastor James Wakelin officiating.  Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield, Iowa.  Visitation will begin after 9am on Sunday with the family present to greet friends from 6-8pm at the funeral home.  A memorial has been established to the Davis County Hospital Auxiliary.
