Fred E. Hainline
BLOOMFIELD: Fred E. Hainline, 60, of Bloomfield, Iowa died December 16, 2008 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born November 7, 1948 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Joseph F. and Ermil Baker Hainline. He married Patty Sterling September 29, 1968 in Maryville, Missouri. Fred was a District Conservationist with NRCS. He was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church and the Iowa Water Shed Board. He was a volunteer worker at the Iowa State Fair for the Blue Ribbon Foundation. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife; 2 daughters, Robyn Hainline of Aurora, Colorado, Melissa (Lafe) Smith of Owatonna, Minnesota; a son, Terry Hainline of Ottumwa, Iowa; 5 grandchildren; his mother Ermil Hainline of Mount Ayr, Iowa; 3 sisters, Jo Ellen Hodnett of Mineola, Iowa, Donita (Randall) Lynch of Ankeny, Iowa, Diana (Alan) Wilson of Winterset, Iowa; a brother, Benson (D’Ambra) Hainline of Mount Ayr, Iowa; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 10am on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Bloomfield Christian Church with Pastor Jim Wakelin officiating. Burial with graveside military rites will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr, Iowa at 3pm on Saturday. Visitation will begin after 9am on Friday with the family present to greet friends from 5-7pm at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Iowa. A memorial has been established to the Davis County Dollars for Scholars for Agriculture.
