Mildred Harris Bloomfield: Mildred Harris, 85, of Bloomfield, Iowa died January 23, 2008 at the Davis County Hospital Long Term Care. She was born February 5, 1922 in Schuyler County, Missouri to William and Edna Jarvis Harris. She worked for Citizens Mutual Telephone Company for 30 years and lived in Bloomfield for most of her life. She is survived by 2 sisters, Maxine McGrew and Myrtle Hudson both of Bloomfield and 5 nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents, a brother, Elmo Harris and an infant sister. Graveside services will be at 2 pm on Saturday January 26, 2008 at the IOOF Cemetery with Rev. DeWayne Lawson officiating. Open visitation will be from 1-9 pm on Friday and also from 9 am until noon on Saturday at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield. A memorial has been established to the Bloomfield Christian Church. |
