Lois L. Kline BLOOMFIELD: Lois L. Kline, 96, of Bloomfield, Iowa died September 29, 2008 at Davis County Hospital Long Term Care in Bloomfield. She was born June 27, 1912 in Stiles, Iowa to Charles and Bessie Nemitz Miller. She married Carl W. Kline February 28, 1936 in Bloomfield. He preceded her in death October 7, 1978. A resident of Davis County her lifetime, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mark Baptist Church and a charter member of the Mark Stitch and Chatter Club. She is survived by a son, Dennis (Mary) Kline of Moline, Illinois; 2 daughters, Carolyn McGuire of Seaton, Illinois, Lavonne (Darrell) McMain of Bloomfield, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clark Miller of Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son-in-law, Charles McGuire; a brother, Jake Miller; 2 half-brothers, Oscar and Harry Miller; 2 sisters, Lucille Rupe and Maxine Pearson. Funeral services will be at 10:30am on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Iowa with Pastors Gary Axtell and Terry Flynn officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin after 9am on Wednesday with the family present to greet friends from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the Mark Baptist Church and the Long Term Care Activity Fund. |
