JACK UGENE MINCKS BLOOMFIELD. JACK UGENE MINCKS, 73 of Bloomfield died April 4, 2008 at his home. He was born July 2, 1934 in Davis County, Iowa to William Ernest and Vira May Story Mincks. He married Louise Parker May 15, 1955 in Bloomfield. He lived most of his life in Davis County and was a farmer. He was a member of the Davis County Sheep Producers. He is survived by his wife; 3 sons Tim (Lois) Mincks of Columbus Junction, Iowa, Jack J. (Brenda) Mincks of Mitchellville, Iowa and Bob (Patricia) Mincks of Bloomfield, Iowa and a daughter Mary Russell of Bloomfield, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 3 brothers Bill Mincks of Kimberling City, Missouri, James Mincks of West Plaines, Missouri and Larry Mincks of Drakesville, Iowa and a sister Carol Redman. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers Gene, Donald and Dick Mincks and 2 sisters Mary Nicoli and Wilma Mincks. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday April 8, 2008 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Bill Iammatteo-Code officiating. Burial will be in the Drakesville Cemetery in Drakesville, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Monday with the family present to greet friends from 6:00-8:00 pm. A memorial in lieu of flowers has been established to his family. |
