Virginia May Morton BLOOMFIELD: Virginia May Morton, 85, of Phoenix, Arizona and former resident of Bloomfield, Iowa died August 1, 2008 at the Paradise Valley Hospital in Phoenix. She was born May 30, 1923 to Irl H. and Kate S. Sommer Morton. She had been a resident of Phoenix for over 30 years. She was a Registered Nurse and Bookkeeper in a doctor’s office. She is survived by a brother, Allan Morton of Phoenix, Arizona; 2 sister-in-laws, Martha and Ann Morton both of Bloomfield, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Bill and Walter Morton. Funeral services will be at 10:30am on Friday, August 8, 2008 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Justin DeVries officiating. Burial will be in the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski, Iowa. Visitation will begin after 9am on Friday with the family present from 9:30am until the time of the service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski, Iowa. |
