Loretta Owens

BLOOMFIELD.  Loretta Owens, 83 of Bloomfield died December 30, 2008 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.  She was born October 4, 1925 in Davis County, Iowa to Ross and Fern B. Stevenson Fenton.  She lived in Davis County most of her life.   She was a certified nursing assistant at the Davis County Hospital and was a very loving and caring person for others.  She was a member of the Stiles and Bloomfield Christian Churches. 

She is survived by 2 sons  Terry (Leslie) Owens of Bloomfield, Iowa and Randy (Laura) Owens of Ankeny, Iowa; 4 grandchildren Brice, Alicia, Hayden and Hallie; 2 great grandchildren Bailey and Jack; 2 sisters Rosemary Harris of Cordova, Tennessee and Shirley Martin of Anamosa, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Deborah Hill and a brother William Fenton.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday January 4, 2009 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Kramer Smith officiating.  Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm Saturday with the family present from 6-8 pm to greet friends.  A memorial has been established to the Stiles Christian Church.
