LuEtta Marie White

BLOOMFIELD:  LuEtta Marie White, 77, of Bloomfield, Iowa died November 21, 2008 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.  She was born March 19, 1931 in Davis County, Iowa to Emmett Theodore and Maudie Florence Aeschliman Stookesberry.  She married James Edward White September 13, 1953 in Bloomfield.  He preceded her in death November 30, 1974.  She was a farm wife and did office work at the Davis County ASCS office for 36 years before retiring in 1986.  She was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church, the International Flying Farms Organization, the 99’s and a 50 year member of Friendship Chapter #46 Order of the Eastern Star in Bloomfield and Rose Chapter #552 in Ottumwa.

She is survived by a son, Larry (Carol) White of Bloomfield, Iowa; 2 granddaughters, Amanda White of Bloomfield, Nicole (Blake) Irwin of Ottumwa, Iowa; a great-granddaughter Laci Irwin; and a brother, Charles (Edna) Stookesberry of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
