Jerry Harold Williams

DRAKESVILLE:  Jerry Harold Williams, 65, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona died September 19, 2008 in Bullhead City, Arizona.  He was born June 28, 1943 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Harold R. and Ruby Marie Snapp Williams.  He married Janice K. Smith July 28, 1963 in Newton, Iowa.  He married Beverly See July 25, 1966 in Nebraska.  He later remarried Janice K. Smith September 14, 2002 in Newton, Iowa.  He was the service director for Findlay Motors in Bullhead City, Arizona.  He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Riffle Association.  He served as a board member of the Mohave Community College in Bullhead City, Arizona, and he helped sponsor the Laughlin River Run in Laughlin, Nevada.

He is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Bryan Williams of Bloomfield, Iowa, Greg Williams of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; 3 step-sons, Eric (Kelly) Wallace of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Kevin Wallace of Newton, Iowa, Nick (Brandy) Wallace of Newton, Iowa; a granddaughter, Bry Ann Williams; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helen (Jerry) Baker of Ottumwa, Iowa, Bonnie (Ron) Holder of Newton, Iowa; a brother, Dr. Bob (Jeri) Williams of Steilacoom, Washington; his step-mother, Betty Williams of Bloomfield, Iowa; and a brother-in-law, Harold Allman of Hedrick, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Doris Allman.

Funeral Services will be at 11am on Monday, September 29, 2008 at the Bloomfield Christian Church in Bloomfield, Iowa with Rev. Jim Wakelin officiating.  Burial will be in the Drakesville Cemetery in Drakesville, Iowa.  Visitation will begin after 10am on Sunday with the family present to greet friends from 4-6pm at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Iowa.  A memorial has been established to the Heartland Humane Society in Ottumwa, Iowa.
