Marjorie Bogle

BLOOMFIELD:  Marjorie Lucille Bogle, 85, of Bloomfield, Iowa died August 23, 2009 at the Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, Iowa.  She was born May 18, 1924 in Sedan, Iowa to Alex Gary and Jessie Bramhall Dobyns.  She married Richard Earl Bogle April 5, 1943 in Lancaster, Missouri.  He preceded her in death in April of 1993.  She was a correspondent for J&S Media in Ottumwa and the Bloomfield newspaper.  She was a member of the Floris Friendship Circle and former member of East End Christian Church in Ottumwa.  She attended the Floris Christian Church and Midway Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Kevin Bogle of Bloomfield, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Francis Dobyns.

Graveside services will at 1:30pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the Oakland Cemetery in Moulton, Iowa with Pastor Harold Baker officiating.  Burial will follow the service.  Open visitation will be from 9am until 9pm on Tuesday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Iowa.  A memorial has been established to the family.
