Virginia Carrier

BLOOMFIELD:  Virginia Mae Carrier, 65, of Columbia, Missouri and former resident to Davis County, Iowa died November 25, 2009 at her home.  She was born July 15, 1944 in Washington County, Kentucky to Cecil and Pauline Smith Edwards.  She married Donald Carrier September 10, 1960 in Lebanon, Kentucky.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Cindy Sherman of Hallsville, Missouri, Paula Niemierowicz of Luxemburg, Wisconsin; 4 sons, Mike Carrier of Moulton, Iowa, Jeff Carrier of Dewitt, Iowa, Rodney Carrier of Columbia, Missouri, Kevin Carrier of New Bloomfield, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Bobby Edwards of Campbellsville, Kentucky; and a sister, Annette Mattingly of Louisville, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, Chelsea Carrier.

The family will be present at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 11am-12:30pm on Monday, November 30, 2009.  Graveside services will be at 1pm on Monday at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield with Pastor Kevin Gingerich officiating.
