Eileen Cochran

CANTRIL:  Eileen Cochran, 90, of Ankeny, Iowa and former resident of Cantril, Iowa died November 14, 2009 at the Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, Iowa.  She was born July 7, 1919 in Van Buren County, Iowa to Sam and Virgie Summers.  She married George Lester Cochran April 11, 1939 in Unionville, Missouri.  He preceded her in death September 18, 1992.  She was a homemaker and was a member of the United Methodist Country Church near Cantril. 

She is survived by a grandson, Sean Cochran of Ankeny, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Linda Cochran of Ankeny, Iowa; a nephew, Scott Thompson of Ankeny, Iowa; and a sister, Virgina Thompson of Oro Valley, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a son, Terry Cochran.

Graveside services with burial of the cremains will be at 2 pm on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril, Iowa with Rev. ellis Andrews officiating.
