Harvey J. Lambright

BLOOMFIELD:  Harvey J. Lambright, 83, of rural Bloomfield, Iowa died March 1, 2009 at his residence.  He was born March 22, 1925 in Nappanee, Indiana to Jacob V. and Elizabeth Kuhns Lambright.  He married Rosa Miller April 24, 1947 in Elkhart County, Indiana.  She preceded him in death March 8, 2007.  He was a farmer and raised cattle.  He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He is survived by a son, Daniel Lambright of Hillsboro, Wisconsin; 4 daughters, Miriam (Abe) Schrock of Bloomfield, Iowa, Martha (Samuel) Borntrager of Kaleva, Michigan, Millie Ruth (Floyd) Hochstetler of Delano, Tennessee, Bertha (Elroy) Mullet of Clare, Michigan; 67 grandchildren; 17 step-grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; 34 step-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Funeral services will be at 9am on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the Abe Schrock residence at 21957 Driftwood Blvd, Bloomfield, Iowa 52537.  Minister in Charge Bishop Ervin Lambright will officiate.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Davis County, Iowa.  Friends may call on the family after 9am on Tuesday at the Abe Schrock residence.
