Anita Louise Lanman
BLOOMFIELD: Anita Louise Lanman, 65, of Bloomfield, Iowa died October 19, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born October 16, 1944 in Muscatine, Iowa to Harlan and Norma LaRue Jarr. She married Lloyd Lanman May 10, 1963 in Douds, Iowa. She provided childcare in her home and owned and operated a machine embroidering business. She was a member of the Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon, Iowa.
She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Crystal (Steve) Davidson of Bloomfield, Iowa, Jody (John) Vaughn of Bloomfield, Iowa; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Debbie Jarr of Bloomfield, Iowa, Yvonne Major of Davenport, Iowa; and 3 brothers, Harlan Jarr Jr. of Douds, Iowa, LaVaun Jarr of Selma, Iowa, Doug Jarr of Floris, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant daughter, Laura Lanman.
Funeral services will be at 10am on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon, Iowa with Rev. David Albert officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin after 9am on Friday with the family present to greet friends from 6-8pm at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield. A memorial has been established to the Living Hope Bible Church.
