Bruce L. Turner

BLOOMFIELD:  Bruce L. Turner, 52, of Bloomfield, Iowa died February 2, 2009 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.  He was born August 19, 1956 in Bloomfield to Ben M. and Marian Wickes Turner.  He married Melody Fisher May 31, 1986 in Bloomfield.  He was a member of the Centerville Assembly of God where he served on the board and was a Sunday school teacher.  He was a lifetime resident of Davis County and worked at Mikels as an auto technician. 

He is survived by his wife; a son, Coby Turner of Pella, Iowa; a daughter, Ashley Turner of Bloomfield, Iowa; his mother, Marian Beggs of Bloomfield; 5 brothers, Ben Turner of Jacksonville, Florida, Roy Turner of Ottumwa, Iowa, Doug Turner of Bloomfield, Mitch Turner of West Grove, Iowa, Tim Turner of Linn, Missouri; 3 sisters, Pat Potts of Santa Fe, Tennessee, Tammy Troyer of Runnells, Iowa, Laura Beggs of Bloomfield; and 2 half-brothers, John Turner of Ottumwa, and Lewis Turner of Centerville, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Arron Turner.
