Ruby May Van Blaricom

BLOOMFIELD.  Ruby May Van Blaricom, 95 of Bloomfield died December 18, 2009 at the Bloomfield Care Center.  She was born September 5, 1914 in Plymouth, Illinois to Roy and Lillie Douglas Munson.  She married Trevis Housholder April 2, 1932 in Carthage, Illinois.  He preceded her in death March 6, 1982.  She married Paul W. Van Blaricom December 20, 1993 in Lancaster, Missouri.  She was a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa and Ottumwa Regional Health Center.  She had been a resident of Davis County since 1989.  She was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church, Past Matrons Order of the Eastern Star in Bonaparte and the Eagles Auxiliary Club in Ottumwa.

She is survived by her husband Paul of Ottumwa; a son Roy (Betty) Housholder of Pulaski; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband; a son Robert Housholder and 2 brothers Lloyd and Chellis Munson.

Graveside services will be Tuesday December 22, 2009 at the Irwin Cemetery near Plymouth, Illinois with Rev. Tom Mehaffy officiating.  No visitation is planned.  Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
