Ollie Beatrice Yahnke

BLOOMFIELD.  Ollie Beatrice Yahnke, 90 of Bloomfield died November 2, 2009 at the Bloomfield Care Center.  She was born February 17, 1919 in Davis County, Iowa to Ira and Julia Hilpert Prevo.  She married Howard Eugene Yahnke February 14, 1940 in Ottumwa, Iowa.  He preceded her in death April 10, 2005.  She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Davis County.  She was a member of the Church of the Open Bible in Bloomfield.

She is survived by a son Harold (Linda) Yahnke of Bloomfield; 
2 grandsons David (Shari) Yahnke and Alan (Melissa) Yahnke both of Bloomfield; 7 great grandchildren Tisha (Adamn) Scott, Ryan, Jordan, Skylar, Pyper, Allyssa and Bailea Yahnke; 2 great great grandsons Duke and Dexter Scott and a sister Doris Gilland of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Gerald Yahnke; a brother Lester Prevo and a sister Berdina White.

Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastors Charles Courtney and Donna Olinger officiating.  Burial will be in the Rouch Cemetery in Davis County.  Visitation will begin at 9 am Wednesday with the family present from 6-8 pm to greet friends at the funeral home.  Memorials have been established to the Troy United Methodist Church and the Church of the Open Bible.
