Ray Borntrager

 

DRAKESVILLE:  Ray A. Borntrager passed away August 3, 2010 at Drakesville, Iowa.  He was born December 4, 1948 at Hutchinson, Kansas.  He lived in Yoder, Kansas most of his life.  He owned Borntrager Blacksmith Shop in Yoder for 36 years, moving to Drakesville, Iowa in 2006. 

He married Sue (Weaver) Borntrager May 14, 1970.  Survived by wife, Sue, and Children, Dorothy and Eldon Miller, Iowa; Delmar and Leora (Yoder) Borntrager, Chetopa, Kansas; Sara Jean and Mark Bontrager, Iowa; Treva Ann and Dean Yoder, Iowa; 8 grandsons and 15 granddaughters.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at Samuel Yutzy residence, Drakesville, Iowa on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 9:00 am.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bloomfield, Iowa.
