Deb Thordarson

BLOOMFIELD: Deb Marie Thordarson, 44, of Bloomfield, Iowa died July 1, 2010 at Hospice House in Ottumwa, Iowa.  She was born May 8, 1966 in Moline, Illinois.  She married Jeff Thordarson May 31, 2003 in Bloomfield, Iowa.  She lived most of her life in Davis County and had been a nurse at the Davis County Hospital.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter Courtney (Michael) Wagler of Ankeny, Iowa; a stepson Nathan (Nikki) Thordarson of Bloomfield, Iowa; 3 grandchildren; her mother Sandra Perrin of Atwood, Illinois; her father Delbert Pouder of Bloomfield, Iowa; 2 brothers Kevin (Nancy) Pouder of Hereford, Arizona and Tim (Marsha) Pouder of Lovington, Illinois; a sister Mary (Danny) Dunlavy of Belknap, Iowa and her mother-in-law Mary Lou Nichols of Bloomfield, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday July 6, 2010 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Kevin Gingerich officiating.  Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield, Iowa.  Visitation will begin at 9 am Monday with the family present from 6-8 pm to greet friends.  Memorials have been established to the Bloomfield United Methodist Church and Hospice of Wapello and Davis counties.
