LANCASTER: Bill Waybill, 73, of rural Lancaster, Missouri died June 11, 2012 at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, Missouri. He was born April 15, 1939 in Davis County, Iowa to Arthur Lester and Edith L. Kinsler Waybill. He married Charlene Lamb June 3, 1962 in Lancaster, Missouri. He owned and operated Waybill Fireworks. Bill was a member of the Monterey Christian Church, the Amateur Trapshooting Association, and had been attending the Mark Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Ricky (Kelli) Waybill of Moulton, Iowa; three daughters, Tammy (Tom) Parsons of Ottumwa, Iowa, Teresa (Ken) Fowler of Bloomfield, Iowa, Becky (Tim) Guler of Texas; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Lowell Waybill of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jack Waybill and Lloyd “Mac” Waybill both of Willow Springs, Missouri, Donnie Waybill of Kirksville, Missouri; and two sisters, Kathy Tipton of Newton, Iowa, Adryth Wall of Boston, Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeff Waybill; and a brother, Kenneth Waybill.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Gary Axtell officiating. Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday with the family present to greet friends from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Mark Baptist Church.
