Jack Francis

Jack Lee Francis, 59, of rural Bloomfield, Iowa passed away on May 28, 2022 in Wapello County, Iowa. He was born on June 24, 1962 in Bloomfield to Jerry and Lorene Nicoli Francis. He graduated from Davis County High School in 1981. Jack worked at American Tank and Welding for many years and has been a caretaker for his brother, James, the last several years. Jack loved hunting, fishing, visiting with people, and spending time with his family - especially his nieces and nephews. Jack was great around kids and had a soft heart. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by three brothers, James Francis, John (Neila) Francis, Jeremie (Rebecca) Francis all of Bloomfield; three nieces, Adeline Francis, Sadie Johnson, Charlie Padget; nephew, Jeremiah Francis; three great-nephews, Destin, Coram, Clayton; extended family; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Donna Olinger officiating. Burial will be at the Troy Cemetery in Troy, Iowa at a later date. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday with the family present to greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to his family.
