Jack Prevo, 73, of Bloomfield, Iowa passed away February 16, 2015 at his home. He was born December 31, 1941 in Davis County to Lester and Velma White Prevo. Jack graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1960. He married Linda Lough December 19, 1965 at the Bloomfield United Methodist Church. Jack was a lineman and later a foreman for Northeast Power in Palmyra, Missouri. He was a very dedicated man to his job, working there for over 44 years. Jack loved music, especially country music and playing his guitar. He was known by many people as he played at the Country Jam, various churches, and nursing homes. Jack and Linda had a wonderful music ministry. The last three winters, Jack and Linda spent a few weeks in Donna, Texas and the trips were very special to the both of them. He loved spending time with his family, camping, and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda; daughter, Deb (Steven) Frymoyer of Bloomfield; son, Brian (Lesa) Prevo also of Bloomfield; four grandchildren, MacKenzie Gravett, Shelby Gravett, Jaden Prevo, Brock Prevo; three great-grandchildren, Tayden and Triten Pilcher, Aaliyah Cremer; and a sister, Judy Biderman of Coralville, Iowa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Marvin Martin officiating. Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Friday with the family present to greet friends from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to his family.
